Mt. Norquay Ends Ski Season as Attention Turns Towards Summer Climbing
The ski/snowboard season has come to a close on Mt. Norquay and in its wake has allowed the introduction of a new activity for the summer season. It’s called the Via Ferrata, which is Italian for Iron Path, and takes the climbing experience to a new level. The best part is, no experience is necessary as all you need to be capable of is climbing a ladder. Thrill seekers and sightseers alike will appreciate the breathtaking view of the Rocky Mountains. The Via Ferrata opens June 2014.
